Mackenzi Lee Holds a BA in History and an MFA from Simmons College in Writing for Children and Young Adults. Her novel, THE GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO VICE AND VIRTUE, was a New York Times Bestseller, an ABA Bestseller. The sequel, THE LADY’S GUIDE TO PETTICOATS AND PIRACY debuted at #3 on the New York TImes Bestseller list.

Alan Gratz is the New York Times bestselling author of several books for young readers, including Refugee, Grenade, Allies, and Prisoner B-3087. His books have been translated into more than twenty languages, and have received numerous awards and honors. Alan lives in North Carolina with his wife and daughter. The Colorado Teen Literature Conference is an annual event held each spring in Denver, Colorado to promote and celebrate teen literature.
